TCWCT Empowers Children’s Education and Health at Lav-Kush Aasharamshala, Panchmahal

Vadodara, India, June 25, 2024 – The Children's Welfare Charitable Trust recently announced the successful completion of a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative with Century Pharmaceuticals Private Limited. This project involved distributing school bags, educational supplies for the academic year, and hygiene kits to more than 300 students at Lav-Kush Ashramshala in Kathola, Panchmahal district. Additionally, comprehensive health check-ups were provided for these students.

TCWCT is dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities, focusing on children’s education and health. This initiative highlights the organization’s commitment to helping every child reach their potential. By providing essential educational materials and thorough health assessments, TCWCT aims to create an environment where children can succeed academically and stay healthy.

A health camp was conducted alongside the distribution of educational materials. Dr. Nida Saiyed and her team led the healthcare effort, focusing on important aspects of pediatric health. The camp included eye check-ups, dental assessments, and the implementation of the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in Schools program.

Healthcare professionals conducted eye examinations and dental assessments, emphasizing the importance of early intervention and proper oral hygiene. These health check-ups are crucial for identifying and addressing potential health issues early, ensuring students can lead healthier lives. By teaching health-conscious habits from a young age, TCWCT aims to build a healthier future generation.

The WASH in Schools program promoted basic hygiene practices within the school. Educational sessions and distributing hygiene kits gave students the knowledge and resources needed to protect their health. This program is a key part of TCWCT’s initiatives, highlighting the importance of maintaining proper hygiene to prevent diseases and promote overall health.
