TCWCT Collaborates with CareerNaksha for Empowering Futures

In an effort to empower students with the necessary knowledge and guidance for a successful future,  The Children’s Welfare Charitable Trust proudly collaborated with CareerNaksha to launch a Mentorship and Career Counselling Program. This initiative, supported by Century Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., aimed to provide students with career clarity, mentorship, and practical tools to help them make informed decisions about their academic and professional paths.

Recognizing the challenges faced by students in rural areas, this education empowerment camp was designed to inspire young minds, reduce school dropout rates, and equip students with skills for a brighter future. By bringing together experienced mentors, career counselors, and educators, the program sought to bridge the gap between education and career aspirations.

The involvement of CareerNaksha brought an added layer of expertise to the program. Mr. Tushar Karlekar, a seasoned career counselor associated with CareerNaksha, played a pivotal role in guiding students. Through engaging sessions, Mr. Karlekar provided personalized career counselling, helping students understand their strengths, interests, and aptitudes.

His insights into aligning academic choices with career goals proved invaluable, motivating students to take confident steps toward their future endeavors. With his extensive experience, he addressed the students' concerns, provided practical advice, and encouraged them to explore diverse career opportunities.

During the mentorship sessions, students were introduced to various career options, particularly in emerging fields, and were encouraged to think beyond traditional career paths. The interactive discussions helped students identify potential career opportunities after completing their 10th and 12th grades, thereby enhancing their vision and aspirations for further studies. The initiative also emphasized the importance of skills development, professional readiness, and the impact of informed decision-making in career planning.

The education camp was structured to include career guidance workshops, one-on-one mentorship interactions, and group activities designed to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities and leadership skills. By fostering an environment of encouragement and self-exploration, the program effectively empowered students to dream big and set tangible goals for their future. Additionally, the initiative played a crucial role in increasing students' confidence levels, helping them make informed educational choices, and addressing critical issues related to school dropouts.

This initiative marks a significant step in creating sustainable career opportunities for students, particularly those in rural and underprivileged areas. Through this mentorship and career counseling program, the collaboration between our organization, CareerNaksha, and Century Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. has successfully ignited hope and ambition among students, equipping them with the necessary resources to take charge of their futures. The program’s impact extends beyond immediate career choices; it has fostered a culture of self-reliance, continuous learning, and academic perseverance among the participants.
