Maghasar Primary School - TCWCT Leading Health Initiatives
The Children's Welfare Charitable Trust (TCWCT) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children in rural areas through innovative programs. On July 31, 2024, TCWCT conducted an essential health check-up camp at Maghasar Primary School, Halol, highlighting our commitment to impactful CSR activities in government schools.
This health check-up camp was part of our "Enhancing Children’s Health Through Eye Check-Up, Dental Check-Up Camp, and WASH in Schools" program. In collaboration with Century Pharmaceuticals, we effectively utilized expertise and resources to address significant health issues impacting children's development.
Expert healthcare professionals conducted detailed eye examinations and dental check-ups for students from standards 1 to 8. These assessments helped identify potential health issues and provided invaluable advice on maintaining optimal eye and dental health. Additionally, the camp included interactive hygiene sessions under our WASH program, educating students on proper handwashing techniques, the importance of clean drinking water, and waste management.
By addressing health and hygiene comprehensively, TCWCT ensures students access essential healthcare services and know how to prioritize their health effectively. This holistic approach is crucial for their overall development and well-being, and it's a strategy we will continue to implement with confidence.
