TCWCT Enhancing Rural Health and Hygiene at Kanjari Kumar Primary School, Halol
The Children’s Welfare Charitable Trust (TCWCT) remains steadfast in its mission to improve the health and well-being of children in rural areas through innovative and impactful initiatives. On November 25, 2024, TCWCT hosted a comprehensive health check-up camp at Kanjari Kumar Primary School, Halol, Panchmahal district, Vadodara demonstrating its commitment to promoting holistic development in government schools through targeted CSR activities.
The health check-up camp was part of our "Enhancing Children’s Health Through Eye Check-Up, Dental Check-Up Camp, and WASH in Schools" program. Organized in collaboration with Century Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, the camp leveraged expertise and resources to address pressing health concerns that directly impact children's growth and learning potential.
During the camp, expert healthcare professionals conducted detailed eye and dental examinations for students from grades 1 to 8. These assessments not only identified potential health issues but also equipped students with practical guidance on maintaining good vision and oral hygiene.
A key highlight of the camp was the interactive hygiene education sessions under our WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program. These sessions focused on teaching children the importance of proper handwashing techniques, access to clean drinking water, and effective waste management practices. By integrating health and hygiene education, the program instills lifelong habits in children, enabling them to lead healthier lives.
At TCWCT, we believe that good health is the foundation of effective learning and holistic development. Through this initiative, we ensure that children in underserved areas not only access essential healthcare services but also gain the knowledge to prioritize their well-being.
