TCWCT Enhancing Children's Health and Hygiene at Gayatri Nagar Primary School, Halol

On March 06, 2025, TCWCT continuing our commitment to student well-being, we recently organized a Health Check-up Camp at Gayatri Nagar Primary School, Halol, Panchmahal District, Vadodara, India. This initiative aimed to ensure that children receive essential health screenings and hygiene education, equipping them with the knowledge and care they need to thrive.

The health camp focused on eye check-ups, dental check-ups, and WASH in School along with a hygiene awareness, helping young students understand the importance of health and hygiene. With the dedicated support of healthcare professionals, including Dr. Nilam Patel, Dentist and Eye Examiner, Vakal Nidan Kendra, the Organization conducted comprehensive screenings and provided valuable health guidance to the children. The camp not only helped detect potential health issues but also encouraged students to adopt healthier habits for a better future.

One of the key aspects of the program was the eye check-up, which allowed us to identify vision-related concerns that might affect children's learning. Timely detection and intervention can make a significant difference in a child’s academic performance and overall development. Additionally, the dental check-up ensured that students received proper oral health assessments and were educated on maintaining good dental hygiene.

Dr. Nilam Panchal played a crucial role in guiding the children on effective oral care practices, highlighting the importance of regular brushing and healthy eating habits.

Hygiene education was another essential part of the camp, as students were taught proper handwashing techniques, sanitation practices, and the importance of cleanliness in daily life. By instilling these habits at an early age, we aim to reduce the risk of preventable diseases and promote a healthier school environment.

The health check-up camp was part of our "Enhancing Children’s Health Through Eye Check-Up, Dental Check-Up Camp, and WASH in Schools" program. Through our CSR collaboration with Century Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, we effectively harnessed expertise and resources to address critical health issues that affect children's development.

By addressing health and hygiene comprehensively, TCWCT ensures that students receive vital healthcare services and learn to prioritize their health effectively, fostering a conducive environment for their learning and growth. This holistic approach is essential for their overall development and well-being, and we will continue to implement it with confidence.
