Austin, TX—March 23, 2011— The Children’s Project International (TCPI) and the Bafna Foundation announced today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as the two organizations join forces as advocates for child welfare in the developing world.
The partnership represents an enormous opportunity for both organizations to make a profound impact as TCPI experts in policy advocacy and development lend their support to the Bafna Foundation, whose activities in India have provided support for countless children. The MoU outlines a framework for progress as the organizations work together in the areas of maternal, newborn and child health, children’s rights and general development as the UN-imposed 2015 deadline for fulfillment of the MDGs draws near.
“TCPI and the Bafna Foundation share common goals,” said Raj Luhar, Founder and CEO of TCPI, “and by working together, we will make sure that those goals are met for the children of India and the world.”
